CBDT Income Tax Order dt. 27/09/2019 : CBDT extends the due date for filing of Income Tax Return (ITR) along with Tax Audit Report (TAR) from 30/09/2019 to 31/10/2019 for FY 2018-19/ AY 2019-20, in the case of corporate assessees/ companies or where tax audit is applicable, in line with representations received from across the country including the ICAI.

CBDT Income Tax Order dt. 23/07/2019 : CBDT extends ITR filing due date from 31/07/2019 to 31/08/2019 for AY 2019-20 (FY 2018-19), due to extension of due dates for filing of TDS Return in revised 24Q and issuance of TDS certificate in revised Form 16. It may be noted that such extension is applicable for certain Taxpayers, like individuals, non-tax audit cases, etc. as mentioned under clause (c) of Explanation 2 to section 139(1) for whom due date is specified as 31/07/2019 in respect of FY 2018-19/ AY 2019-20.

| CBDT Income Tax Order dt. 04/06/2019 : CBDT has extended the due dates for filing of Salary TDS Return (Form 24Q) for the 4th quarter of FY 2018-19 from 31/05/2019 to 30/06/2019 and for issuance of Salary TDS Certificate (Form 16) from 15/06/2019 to 10/07/2019, due to hardships being faced by Deductors in filing the said return in recently notified revised format. |
